Each piece begins analog, constructed with cut-outs from vintage publications dating from 1932-1984.
Analog -> Ultra High Resolution Digitized -> Animated
My intention is to bring a new meaning to mixed “media”, delivering a unique perspective from between the lines of classic publications including Life, Playboy, Colliers, and True Romance.
Each piece dives into the rich history of literary brilliance and writers’ objectives to stroke the imagination of readers with intriguing content. Classic Madison Avenue era marketing design paints a contrasted, “perfect life” through its advertisements and works perfectly, yet ironically, against the serious tones of the current events per the times.
Lastly, the original depiction of women’s beauty provides an eye catching, motive posing aesthetic which celebrates the movement of their sexual freedoms, that was eventually exploited in a tasteless, toxic, and vulgar manner by the adult film industry and internet.

Big Shot - SOLD $1400
“Big Shot” features a 1930’s Collier’s article covering a high society lifestyle, overshadowed by several early 1980’s era Playboy cut-outs.
America’s Favorite Misfit
The “Misfit” is the sixth of 6 pieces from the Sex Criminal collection being showcased by NFT Curation partners. The foreground is a cutout from the famous August 1976 Playboy cover. The backdrop is taken from a 1950’s era True Romance magazine advertising memberships to a book club. Additional cutouts taken from various 1960’s LIFE Magazines.
Always looking for that right bodied taste!
